Niki is an amazing teacher, I am a novice and she immediately made me feel extremely comfortable and relaxed. I have started working out when I was 15 years old and quickly realized that it was going to become a part of my life. The reason for that is I saw what my body could look like but also how good and happy I felt afterwards. It wasnt until seven years ago that I started to work out 5 times a week, heavy weight lifting and cardio which gave me great pleasure. But when you do this 5 times a week after a while you need something else to give you a rush. So I decided to try yoga, booked a class, went , left it feeling ok but not thrilled. I didn’t want to give it up so fast so booked for 10 more classes. By the time it was my 8th class I knew that yoga wasn’t for me. It wasn’t exciting enough, fast enough and gave me the feeling of whatever I wanted to achieve was going to take years, and that I had to become a Yogi! That wasn’t in me so I left yoga and never looked back. Then I met Niki and absolutely loved her body, mind and soul, so asked her what she does to gain such great shape and she told me all about power yoga. At first I was a bit skeptical because of the yoga word but decided to give it a go and I can honestly tell you that I fell in love with it the first lesson we did together. It was fast, exciting, exhilarating, challenging and fun. I felt great in 2 ways when we were done. First, I felt like I’ve really done a good workout, sweat, worked my muscles and did my cardio. Second, I’ve connected with my mind, body and soul. I felt happy and couldn’t stop smiling.
